Very light colored yolks

I have a Rhode Island Red who has begun to lay very light colored yolks ( a month or so at this point.). The other hen ( a americana) lays normal colored yolks. Both get same food, same coop , no rooster etc. Any explanations. Thanks. Drew

• Worms (Coutts and Wilson, 1990)
• Any factor which inhibits liver function, subsequent lipids metabolism and deposition of pigment in the yolk. For example, mycotoxicosis caused by aflatoxin B1 (Zaghini et al., 2005)
• Coccidiosis, although this is rare in adult hens
