Hey Everyone,

So today (the 20th) is the hatch date for an RIR egg that I was hatching. I went to bed last night, and didn't notice any pipage, and the incubator showed all normal numbers for temp and humidity. This morning, when I got up the humidity was 25% and there was a pip on the shell.. I immediatly filled the water back up and the humidity is back up to: 56%. Do you think he will be okay, or is there anything I should do for it? I know I am not supposed to touch it, and I am not going to unless there is something you all think I should do. In the past hour there has been no movement on the egg or the pip hole...

I would just leave it alone and see what happens, if the chick makes no progress in 24+ hours I would then think about helping. Keep an eye on the hum !!
