Ok so I got 6 chicks the other day I noticed that 2 of them had poop on their butt so I did like y'all said and put it's butt in warm water and wash it away and cleared the poop it keeps coming back and one died this morning the other ones vent is sticking out far

Are you using medicated feed?

Your pin might be a little to hot . I had one die and it had the same problem, so i made air flow and moved the heat lamp back and no more died . So go and try that and see what happens .

You can put a little bit of oil on its bottom so it will be less likely to stick.
