About a month ago my chicken started to lay eggs that were softer at one point I became shell-less. She lays these shell-less eggs in and I’m spots such as the backyard and under the roosting bar. She has been playing i in a pooping motion. Today she won out in the morning layed the egg white and yolk then a minute later the membranes and stuff. About 3 days ago I started to giv her calcium and vitamin d3 pills, she at some of it. But nothing happened it kept getting worse. Please help me I’m starting to get really worried.

Age and breed of hen? Are you giving them oyster shell? What is the normal diet? Do you give treats or anything that is not chicken feed?

A few months older than 1 years. I give have oyster shell and grit in separate feeder. I give them layer pellets and crumble. I have a few bags of feed so I switch from crumble to pellet. They have clean water available and I give them treats like mealworms and seeds. I sometimes give them kitchen scraps too. Hope this will help.

Also I started to give them more treats. I put some in their feed which was not very smart and I put it in their oyster shell and grit so they would eat it. I did this after the shell-less eggs. They seem to be healthy making all the chicken noises and acting natural.
