Anyone have any idea what's going on with this hen? She is about 18 months old and physically healthy...mentally, that's another story. If she went to school, she would ride the short bus. She has done this since I got her at 2 weeks old. Not really worried about her, just wondering. ??? Wait till the 0:25 mark.

Water in her ears?

Mites?

Weird. My silkie chick does some weird similar head bobbing movements, but as a silkie she's inherently challenged in my view. We wrote it off as a neurological oddity.

The hen only does this on the roost?

Great setup, by the way. If only the hens knew who was watching.....

Yes, only while she's roosting. And like I said, she's done this her entire life.
