That is so sad, First the police MUST be notified due to the car attempting to hit a woman and child. The other reason is that when younger folks torture and maim/kill animals they usually become serial killers/rapists and murderers as adults and that is even more reason to involve the authorities. Perhaps install a game camera to get plate number and perhaps a look at these monsters. Good luck catching them, and call police every time!!!!!

Here, we have ducks, geese, guineas, all kinds of fowl that cross the roads. I have stopped to help a hit goose, it bit me for my effort, LOL-but I got him back to his farm. The other day I stopped in the middle of a 55 mph road to let a pack (?) of guineas finish crossing.

Some people are just freaking nasty pieces of work. This summer a guy stopped in front of my house to pick up a box turtle, I physically got up went out in the yard and applauded. I like those kind of people. People who purposely hit things are pretty much trash.

I don't know who here read my post about hoons running over my hen on purpose a few months ago.

Well, since I have lived here there has been a feral roo that lives in the orchard down the road. We see him every day and he is huge and stunning to look at.
He is regularly on the side of the road and all the locals in my quiet road know when they pull into the road he might be around. Plus he was very car savvy himself.

Today I pulled into my street and he was dead on the side of the road in the ditch :'(

His feathers were all over the road.
I actually felt so sad and I just have a gut feeling the same boys who got a kick out of swerving at my chicken and hitting her on my nature strip pulled into the ditch and got him too.

My neighbors told me that a week after they killed my hen, she was walking her little dog on lead with her toddler grandson and the same car swerved at her dog as they sped past her way over the speed limit. They scared her, Her dog and her grandson.

I am so sorry!!!!
