I have a very poorly boy. Started with 1 eye closed still eating but lethargic. I took him to the vet yesterday as he now had a bad smelling sinus infection, temperature, unable to hold up head or walk. She gave him cortisone and has given me antibiotics to give him. I am giving water, egg, and vitamin mix regularly as he can’t feed himself. 24 hrs on and no major improvement. Can I give him any thing else he still has a temperature. I am in France.

Did the vet say what was actually the problem with him? I does seem like mycoplasma. If your vet has given him antibiotics and your giving him egg and vitamins it's probably the best course of action. Just keep him warm and comfortable. If he's got a temperature make sure he doesn't get too warm. Make sure he gets fluid in him though as ha could dehydrate. I think it's just wait and see. If there's no improvement take him back to the vets. Sometimes when chickens get a illness a secondary illness can also take hold and may need treatment aswell. Fingers crossed he'll start improving soon.
