I would say quite a bit.

I got to be honest here, your hen is *very* sick and once they get that thin, they don't normally recover. A full grown Domonique hen should weigh around 2kg.I would say quite a bit.
I'm a coward, so I usually just tube water/feed them until they die. When you pick her up, is she warm to the touch? I know if I'm keeping them warm enough if their legs and comb are warm.I was beginning to suspect that anyway. I will save all those pics and information for future reference. I have never dealt with a sick chicken before. Would it be cruel to make her comfortable and do the best I can at feeding and watering her until she passes, or is it best to put her down? Not sure I would be able to end her life myself, but don't want to prolong her suffering. Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it!
Yes, she is warm. I have had her in our guest bathroom right next to the air vent so the heated air is near by. I think that is what I would prefer to do as well. She is such a stubborn chicken, it's amazing that she has made it this long. Thank you again!! Your help has meant a lot to me.![]()
