Very slow tonight!

Your lucky. 0 eggs since june. We have 3 barred rocks that are over 4 years old and a bunch of girls that are to young to lay.

I guess that is lucky then. But we were getting 5 eggs a day a while ago. i just heard thunder. YUM

We had some passing clouds but no rain or thunder. I miss my old flock that I sold cause we got 2-3 eggs a day out of the 4 sex links.

Do you have any now. We have 12 girls and 1 roo. 6 of the girls are 10 weeks, the rest are of laying age. Do they? NO.

Nope not yet. I plan on getting some sex links again down the road. Sold them wiith my last silkie roo. They where the sweetest birds I had. They followed me everywhere and let me pick them up. All we have now is a bunch of chickens that follow me around but scared of me picking them up.

We got our chickens from a free range farm they clearly had no interaction with people. I had one this week come up and take treats out of my hand. AWeSOME! Our chicks are different. they LOVE me.

I am the only one who feeds them even though I only own 4 out of the 14 but I love them so much. They see me with food and I get stomped on and trampled by the big girls. Its so hard to walk when I am tripping over the girls

I have said before, we have Stepford chickens. They are neat and orderly. I come out there and they all run into the hen house and watch me cut up the treats. As soon as I put the knife down, the run out into the coop and wait for me b the door. I go in, laqy the tray down, they all make nice noises and me then all hell breaks loose. HAHAHAHA

Well the chicks do that, but the older girls are very reformed. Stepfrd chickens. the chicks all gather around my feet and want to intervene in the pecking order thing with the treats. Um... no thanks
