Very small chick with injured leg.

So my chick is too small to splint her leg would it be okay to wrap it against her body?

Is there another issue besides the curled ties? The toes need taped asap if the leg is fine.

no the toes curled are because shes not putting weight on her leg. She keeps it pulled up near her body, but from the knee down just dangles loosely. I think its likely broke right around there cause I've seen her move her leg at the hip. She also has a small cut on her rump. I haven't noticed a lot of swelling

How old is she? Did she stand or walk normally before now? How did the cut on her rump get there? Do you have a picture? I would not splint anything until we figure out what is wrong. But if the toes remain curled under, it might be good to tape them flat. Here is a good example of taping the toes flat:

So I taped the chicks toes, but doesn't that add weight to the leg which would cause more pain and difficulty getting comfortable?

Can you answer some of the questions in post 4? Did her toes stay curled under? Do you have a picture of her taped toes?
