Hey Everyone,
I have a 20 week old EE that just started laying two days ago but the eggs are very small compared to my other breeds that I have (2 Barred Rock, 1 Buff, 1 Black Australorp, 2 Redstar). They are literally slightly larger than a Robins egg. Is this normal, I dont remember my other hens laying such small eggs early on? I would really appreciate any feedback on this topic, Thank You So Much!!

Like I said, I have 6 hens that are over a year old that have been laying since Feb (normally produce 1 egg/day), and there has not ever been 1 egg that has been even close this small. But thanks for trying to help. :)

Thanks for the help, thats good to hear, was hoping that was probably the case. :)

My olive Egger just started to lay this week. They have all been the size of quail eggs so far (3 so far). Out of a varied flock including RI Reds, Leghorns, Easter Eggers, Lavander Orpington, Wyandotte, she was the first to lay. All hatched 3/30/22
