very smart guinea

My guinea's just started laying 2 females and 2 male, they 8 months old and free range with my chickens. I have a broody chicken hen sitting on eggs for 3 weeks the guinea are laying eggs in her nest box. How cool is that? I have 4 so far.

I'd seperate your broody hen or you will have half developed jeers when some are hatching.... Very cool though how the guineas know that the hen is setting

I have a broody turkey hen that is sitting in a garbage can full of feed bags. Everyday I trade her a few pieces of corn for her guinea egg that she's sitting on. I haven't yet found the guinea that goes in there. Every few days I find a second egg that is a small light blue EE. Those guineas will lay anywhere and I've never seen one go broody.

I found another egg in one of the other nest box. I guess they watch the hens to long and want to make it easier for me
