Very Tiny Egg

Went into my chicken enclosure today to put out fresh water for my flock, and found a teeny tiny egg mixed in with some chicken poop. I've never seen this before so I figured I'd ask you all what may have caused this. I'm not worried about anything being wrong, I just found it to be funny and curious.

It is a fairy, fart or wind egg... they happen sometimes. Most often with new layers. A lot of people will blow the egg out to keep. They also usually dont have a yolk but some do.

Yeah it just so happens that I my Jersey Giant laid her first egg today too.(which was also really really small, but to be expected for the first).

Yep, fairy, fart, wind, rooster egg.
Might be a tiny piece of tissue broke loose, or an immature yolk was released, and the body formed the rest of the egg around it.

Interesting. We just got one today as well. It was laying next to a full sized egg. Is it possible the same chicken laid both? Our hens have been laying for almost a year. Would this still be normal?
