He's been vaccinated and apparently was never sprayed (thank goodness!)

That is funny. Yes you have very trusting horses. That is awesome. As long as they did not get sprayed.

LOL! Luckily, only the palomino is mine. The other one looked at it, her eyes bugged out and she RAN to the edge of the pasture with the rest of the herd. Max stayed until the gunshot.

Thanks SMG! I'm pretty proud of him...even though I wish he wouldn't be quite so daring sometimes. I wasn't there when this took place. Another boarder took pictures inbetween her fits of laughter.

HorseFeatherz, I'm just glad he doesn't have a lasting reminder of his dearly departed "friend"!

Very trusting skunk, too. My stallion stomped a skunk to death that entered his stall, likely to eat the eggs from the nest the hens made in the corner of his stall. It was definitely deliberate since the skunk was half under the stall mat trying to escape. He never made it. The stallion is otherwise extremely gentle and he almost seems to know he is "feeding" the hens when he spills his grain.
