very VERY URGENT QUESTION!

It also very much depends on the climate you are in when you open the bator. Here in dry montana its pretty darn risky. Somewhere that has a naturally higher humidity not so much. But then my broody got off her nest in lockdown, soooo yes I ended up with a couple shrink wrapped that I had to help. But aren't hen's supposed to be the experts???? Point is you can do everything 100% perfectly and still end up with a crappy hatch or do many things wrong and get a good hatch. Its really a lot like gambling, rotfl. Just be patient, I know easier said than done.

Well, I suppose I beat all the odds here when I received a duck eggs three days from hatch and didn't know. The duckling not only shipped via post office, in bubble wrap and box, survived candling, was put into incubator and rolled and still managed to hatch without lockdown and humidity increase. In all probability YOUR ducks will be fine. If you have done all right to the best of your knowledge then you should be fine. Its optimal to leave them alone during lockdown, but obviously they manage to survive much worse. Hugs...great hatch for you!!
