I have a very weak newborn chick that I've given electrolytes to but I don't have grogel to give it. It seems to weak to eat and isn't walking around or moving much. Anything homemade I can do?

. Every hour or so I carefully dip it's beak in electrolyte water. I just warmed raw egg yolk and mixed in some electrolyte water to dethicken it. I gave it a bit with the tip of a syringe and it seems to have a little more energy. I might be delaying the inevitable but at least I tried.Trying is all that you can do. Feed often, make the chick comfortable, and keep it warm. Lots of times sick chicks like soft things to snuggle on. I had one sick chick once who liked a soft cotton glove to snuggle against. Whatever works. Thanks for the reply. It can't even hold it's head up on it's own.. Every hour or so I carefully dip it's beak in electrolyte water.
