If it was cedar bedding, it's poisonous to animals. Don't know why stores still sell it and pet co's still mfr it. SOrry for your loss.

If you're still intersted in sebright info, do a serach for golden sebright inthis forum...I read a post once from a woman that talked about the color of their head around their comb (dark or light), but don't recall which were the boys or girls. It was correct for my bantams, I got 4 boys and one girl. (summer chicks tend to be more boys due to the heat for whatever reason). I *think* the dark around the comb was the girl sign, but not 100% postiive.
