Vet wants to give penicillin to chicken with mg. Will that treat it?

My hen has raspy breathing and bubbles in eyes. Pretty sure it mg. Will penicillin treat that type of infection?

Unfortunately penicillin will not treat Mycoplasma diseases. Tylan or Baytril would be best for MG.

Penicillin is not likely to treat MG. Mycoplasma does not have a cell wall. So other antibiotics may work better. Those can include Tylosin, Denagard, oxytetracycline, are others that may help.
