vibrating duck

my duck is 2 weeks old or less and after a bath i wrapped it in a blanket and its sleeping and vibrating why is that

Young ducklings tend to get water logged and chill easily. I would recommend not bathing it. Are you supplying supplemental heat ?

yes i do supply heat but he was just swimming not soaked

can this be like some kind of "purr" of the ducklings

It's chilling, and can progress to hypothermia as very young ducklings are not 'water proofed'.

but it only happens when i hold the duck for about 1 minute and it sleeps
