He makes me giggle Finally got him on video this morning. These are my first chickens and reading other threads it makes me so sad to know he may "turn mean" on us. But for now he is so fun to watch.

Lol, that is pretty funny. Our naked neck rooster has just barely started to crow and we thought there was a drunk outside the door or something. The new crowing sounds vary so wildly too, my mother in law has silkie roosters and they sound like little teenage boys with their crackly voices.

LOL! hubby heard his very first attempts but I never did. He said it sounded like a frog. My neighbor growing up kept silkies and I remember the same thing!

DH and I have two Serama roos who try to bluster and 'look tough,' but still like to be carried around/held and have their wattles rubbed....

. They also dance and find tasty treats for their ladies. Hopefully your guy stays sweet and treats your girls well!
