We were told these eggs might be from a greylag pair of geese but then told the dad/gander is pure white and the incubation period only 27.5 to 29 days so perhaps they are actually pilgrims/Aussie Setters which are more common here? I don't know if Greylags are very common here in Australia, Hunter NSW, please correct me if I'm wrong though. Does anyone known if the down patterning might give us some clues?
