This is Mu, today she is 4 days old, and yesterday she stood and learned to walk. As my mom described it, she looked drunk, lol. I uploaded the video to YouTube, here is the link if you would like to watch.

Really?? OOhhhhh don't tempt me! I have 5 acres with horses, cows, goats, and lots of birdy friends- I can add an emu, right?

This is my first Emu, but from what I have read, they are great with other animals. I think I even saw a picture from another BYCer with her Emu with the Miniature horses and Chickens. Just like chickens "She" will need to be kept warm in a brooder for a while, I have her in a dog crate with a heat lamp, a blanket and chick starter & water.
