Video of my 8x20 coop/run lots of protection

Well at pitch dark still no enter, so i helped each one. They actually come to me to set them on ramp lol no chasing. They attached to me. Once they get alittle older they should go in coop.

Try a low watt light bulb in the coop to let them know where to go.

When my gals were 5 weeks old and moved to the coop, we had to place them in a few nights, then tried the light and it was magic- if all is dark but the coop, they will go in.

Could you post pic of inside with view of the roosts? Sure

NIce roosts, looks like they should be inviting to the flock.

If you can identify the top and bottom of the flock, maybe focus on training them to go in and once they do the others should follow.

In my small flock, the lowest on the pecking order are the first to go into roost, but the top ones are usually the bravest for new adventures.

Will keep my fingers crossed that they decide to go in tonight

Yep, it was a mad rush this morn to be first one out lol!! The ramp being less steep is helping. I figure within the next week they will slowly go in. They 8 weeks old sunday. Also the video shows coop roosts well too.

Make sure you are out of the way when they come down.

. I saw a video once advertising an auto coop door and the flock coming out was hilarious, reminded me of the only time I ever went to a sale on Black Friday - when they opened the doors all you could see were elbows and knees flying. LOL>

You may have to let them out earlier? My gals come out of the coop before daybreak - by nearly 30 minutes most days - at first light when the wild birds start to sing.
