Western Hognose snakes are one of my favorites! They're cool because they resemble rattle snakes (minus the rattle and with an upturned nose) and can also puff up their hoods like cobras. They are also rear fanged venomous (but its not really dangerous to people). Here you can see Rogue in typical Hoggie fashion with her hood puffed up, hissing, and striking - but not even towards me. They're all talk and no bite - USUALLY. She's trying to look scary. Aint it precious?

Gorgeous!! I always have loved Hognose Snakes though. . . Never had one, but loved them.

My experience was with Ribbon and Corn snakes, then Ball and Burmese Pythons.
