My roo always has made a nest for his hen and then he calls her when its ready and she goes in and he waits inside the nest for her until she lays her egg

I have a white cochin roo who goes with his hen to lay her egg too. He doesn't make the nest for her but she makes this noise and he just goes with her LOL I have a video of that as well. Will post it. My bantam roos are great with their hens

It's so wonderful to get to learn about your chickens to see exactly what they are capable of. Some think chickens aren't intelligent I happen to think they are. I spend a lot of time just watching them and I see some pretty amazing stuff!
