1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.) Wellsummer, same as she has been.
2) What is the behavior, exactly. See video. Weird neck shimmy thing.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? A couple days.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms? No.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. None.
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation. Nothing.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. Eating and drinking normally.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. Normal.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? None.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? Self.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help. Please see video.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use. Coop at night. Pine shavings. Run during day. Mulch and dirt. Allowed to free range a few hours in the evenings.

That looks like a pretty normal crop adjustment, so long as she’s not doing it all the time it’s normal

She is doing it over and over like clockwork.

I’d check her crop and see if it feels unusual, like rock hard or doughy, I have a hen with pendulous crop who does this often

Wife says she checked her crop yesterday and it was soft and she could feel like a little gravel in it???

Any sour smell from her crop? Is it emptying overnight? I’ll tag some more experienced people

Just smelled her crop and it smells sour. After massaging it and flipping her upside down, she threw up some liquid.

Please don’t flip her over again, she can aspirate the liquid. I haven’t dealt with sour crop, so will leave it to the educators tagged above and @Eggcessive

She threw up quite a bit of stinky liquid that my wife said smelled like “kids barf”. We have brought her inside and are only offering water currently until we get more advice. She is doing fine, trying to eat pine shavings now.

If her breath smells bad, then treat as Sour Crop according to the article below. You can find Miconazole or Clotrimazole at stores like Walmart, CVS, etc.

Don't massage a crop that is Sour. It's not a good idea to vomit a chicken, they have no gag reflex and can easily aspirate or even choke and die.

Everyone does things a bit differently. I leave my hens with their flock and just pull them aside to give treatment. They have access to water/feed free choice during waking hours.

Eating shavings is not good, so provide her with some wet mushy feed. Make sure she has access to Grit (Crushed Granite) free choice.
