Vines on Your Run

Hi, everyone!
For the most part, our run is in the shade most of the day until 5-7pm. Since that’s the hottest time the sun is, what would be the best type of vine to have there? Would that be considered part sun?

If the whole run is shady until 5pm, that would pretty much be full shade.

I grow grape vines over my coops, they provide shade in the summer, sun in the winter annnd chickens love the fruits ‘n leaves. They will eat the heck out of em if they are grown too low. G’luck!

I planted honeysuckle on mine. Provides shade in the summer, lets sun in during the winter.

Deep shade?
Got pics?
Keep in mind many vines can tear up the structures they are climbing on.
Shade cloth might be a better bet.
