Vinyl flap doors . . . can chickens figure them out?

I bought 10 dollar neoprene no slip floor mats. They are thicker and do better as a cover.
I cut a slit and lifted the one side up for a few days until they got used to going in and brushing up against it.

Now it is the only cover I have on the door.

Is there a link you could post for this product? Or a picture

Mine figured it out easily because at first, I taped all but one of the hanging flaps up out of the way and kept just that one hanging down. They walked in and out right past it. Then the next day, I let two more hang down; and then after they went in and out a few times that day, I let them all down. Here's a picture. I think you can just barely see the clear plastic flaps hanging down.

Where did you get the plastic to do this? I'm thinking of doing the same thing....great pic by the way

Has anyone used this idea to keep wild birds out of their coop? We get tons of black birds in our coop and they eat all the chicken feed and poop everywhere!

Oooohhh. So you secure the cloth at the top and the bottom and just "slit" a cut down the middle? In other words, it's not a flap door because the cut doesn't extend all the way down the cloth, and hence, there's nothing to "flap"? Just want to make sure I'm picturing this correctly. Also, do you use some sort of stretchy material to avoid it from getting saggy over time?
This comment was not intended for individuals who still possess a pubescent mindset who found much humor in this description. So i ignored it accordingly.
