Me again. My biggest coturnix chick is being aggressive to all the others. It's pecking their toes and then dragging them across the brooder. Why? They r 10 days old

They usually stop doing that by day 2 or 3. What are you feeding them? You might try adding a couple hiding places for they didn't do it before, it's just the big one doing it to the others today, they've all got along until now. I'm giving them a 29% protein chick crumb. They also have a mix of blueberries, raspberries and strawberries every now and then, hide some meal worms under their straw too. I've put a bigger feeder in too as I have a few different types.
Ahh ok. So stop the worms? It's probably the mealworms. The larger chick is mistaking toes for worms and pecking at them. I don't start giving treats to my birds until they're at least 4 weeks old.
I would stop all the treats for now. Those first 4-6 weeks is when they do most of their growing, so proper nutrition is critical.Ahh ok. So stop the worms?
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
