I have always loved white goats. So far all my babies have been mostly white.

I am getting a little excited about my herd queen, Lilah. She is at the age where she could have as many as 4. She is also a big girl and 4 would be EASY for her. Her last kidding was 3.

Lilah is Violet's momma.

Something interesting about my goats - they have never broken their family ties. Violet is the only one Lilah will share her feed pan with.
She knows Violet is her baby. Now that violet has a baby Lilah is far more tolerate of its presence than she is any other babies.

The same for Cindy and her baby (due to kid any day now) Penny.


Wattles is a sister to Lilah and Cindy - a few generations separating and many bucks later - She shares lilah's dam and Cindy's sire. But they show less tolerance for her in their presence but her baby is carefully watched over by them all.
