Hi
I am considering raising chickens in my backyard for 2 purposes (a) to teach my young boys (ages 8 & 9) about responsibility and taking care of chickens (b) get wholesome eggs that we can consume
I don't have a coop, but am considering building one. What would be the most economical way of making one?
I have a big backyard.
I know I have to do a lot of required reading on this website, but I thought I would introduce myself and what I am trying to do.
I live in Rancho palos verdes.
If you have any suggestions for a feed store near my area (for buying chickens and for feed), please do let me know.
Any other suggestion would be sincerely appreciated.
thanks
Kash
