oh and does anyone have or know someone who does, bantam blue laced red Wyandottes? and if so, will they be at Gilmanor? 8)

just 5 more weeks you know... I'll be bringing some Dorkings (adult hens) whatever EE's are hatched out by then, sfh if I can get hold of more eggs (if mine will ever give me some that is) and anything else that won't be going in the breeding pens (or is a chronic broody).

Well hi guys, have not been able to get on for a bit. I caught my FIFTH freaking opussom yesterday...

Also, OH MY GOD, what is wrong with me. I went to smithfield swap yesterday and me and my girl were only supposed to buy a replacement bantam straight feather female cochin with frizzle gene or a turkey, or replace other lost hens for our breeder program. I ended up coming home with another flemish giant rabbit, 4 mottled bantam cochin chicks and 10 barredrocks. I officially have a medium size flock now. My turken EE is laying green eggs!!!

Looking for one chick to keep my present chick company. I live in Mechanicsville. Preferably, it would be a silkie chick, but in the end, my chick just needs a friend. Thanks.

Sorry don't have any right now but just wanted to say hi! I live just down the road in NEWKENT just off West Point exit.

I have two black australorps that are two days old, they hatched under my silkie girl. You are welcome to both of them. PM me if interested

Well, we finally moved to VA! I'm excited to plan our coop and finally get some chickens! Is end of September too late in the year to get them- should I wait until the spring? I'm in Gore (west of Winchester).

I've hatched and acclimated chicks as late as November to go outside... so I would say it all depends on what you're looking for and how old they are when you get ready to put them out.
