Welcome DC! I have decided my coop and run will never be as big as I want and I will always need "just one more"!

Welcome to BYC and Loudoun County! I live up near Lovettsville, NW of Leesburg. I raise several varieties of chickens including ameraucanas, swedish flower hens, cream legbars, basque hens, as well as a number of laying flock hens. I am also a certified NPIP tester in Loudoun County if you ever decide to get your flock tested and certified Pullorium free.I am so glad to find this VA thread on BYC. I am from Loudoun county, outside of Leesburg, VA. I want to start networking and attending local swaps and shows.
I browse BYC forums almost everyday.
I started raising chicks this past September. Next year I will start trying to hatch partridge rocks. I have two lovely, heathy PR hens and a non-aggressive PR rooster. I also have 2 light brahmas and 2 barred rocks.
I want to get a couple more hens - perhaps Easter Eggers - ones that lay blue/ green eggs.
My coop before building the run. I already wish I had a larger coop!
