haven't told hubby, not sure i'm going to. maybe he'll just think they hatched...

got an email from mcmurray today about their rainbow egg layer collection (all pullets). on sale, minus the credit I had with them from last years' failed shipments, worked out to about $1 each...

where the heck am I going to put another 25+ chicks on Monday?

or the ones due to hatch next Saturday, or the ones the following Thursday? or the ones from the eggs delisha's sending me Monday? LOL cross fingers the weather improves. quickly.

I'm still looking for new additions to my flock if you need to get rid of some....of course, you're quite a ways south.

I hope you get better luck than I did with that bargain! I ended up leghorn heavy. 8/15 to be exact. 3 EE, 2 Hamburgs, 1NH, and a SLW that turned out to be a roo. I added on two more EE to make sure I got them. I have a TON of white eggs, green eggs, blue eggs, but NO brown eggs. My order in coming in April will solve that.

Gorgeous blue andalusion! I would do some swapping if I had anything that I didn't want or lived near any of you I've always thought the pictures in the catalogs of the orientals looked like evil birds ready to attack me at any minute but those are beautiful Cubalaya! I love the look of their tails.
