Well I went to a rabbit show yesterday in NC. They always have raffle tables and apparently someone was willing to part with some Dorking hatching eggs... I had to refrain myself so much from buying them

those were probably Julie's... she has some very nice reds and 'dark reds' as the UK calls them. basically a red version of the colored Dorking.

speaking of rabbits, I'll be bringing an assortment of 8-10 week old bunnies with me to Gilmanor. not my own, I don't raise rabbits, but a neighbor and coworker raises and shows (successfully!) mini rex. not sure exactly how many or the sexes, but here are some pics of a few of them...






the two below won't be going with me, but are available for sale. the white is a doe, broken a buck, think he said $50 each.

Anyone going to Gilmanor this weekend that might have some dominique or SLW eggs? I will have some extra room in my incubator due to a less than stellar effort by the post office that I need to fill.

I am going since I finally got all my paper work filed and a verbal ok from the city while I wait for my permit in the mail. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas. My wife and I are very excited. Hope to see some of you there. I am hoping to find some black australorps and other good eggers for my 4 lady flock.
