hello Justin,
I am in Hampton! I found my chickens on craigs list, they usually have a good number of chicken posts. My chickens had mites when I got them, but a couple of dustings with wood ash and they were cleaned up!

Hello everyone I just heard that the Tractor Supplys in Smithfield and Franklin will be having a meet on saturday Feb. 9. Just letting anyone in VA that is interested know about it.

The interactive map. It just puts a bubble pointer to your general location and if someone clicks on it, it can give info such as: what breeds you sell, if you ship, etc..

Good Morning VA Peeps!

As we all know - VA weather can easily go from one extreme to another within a matter of hours. Here in 'south central' VA it's cold (37 right now) and a little breezy. We're expecting a 'chance' of snow showers later today... I'm praying not.
So what's going on outside your window this morning?

Here in King George I have the ever changing winter weather going on - at 7am we had large snow flakes coming down that stuck to the roof and grass. By 8am it was over but the wind had picked up. Now at 9am it's cloudy and cold. They said flurries today and it certainly was but thankfully it isn't sticking to the roads. The sun keeps peeking out and trying to warm things up.
