REST IN PEACE, GEORGE
Boy George didn't make it through the night. I suppose an owl snuck up on his roost, last night. At daylight, Martha was walking around with one of his tail-feathers in her beak. Probably pretty spooky to hear all the commotion and not be able to do anything, they were only a few feet apart. Seems silly, I suppose, but the suns does not seem to be shining quite as bright today...

im looking for phesants or phesant hatching eggs near Rocky mount
i have a lonly little female she needs friends
thanks

well it's off season for eggs, like turkeys and guineas most are not laying this time of year... there was a guy down near Floyd co that advertised on craigslist last year who might have some more, or check the swaps... white pickup truck, "dan4x4" has some pheasants now and then. not sure what breeds. Christiansburg swap is this weekend, Roanoke in 3 weeks and rocky mount in 4 weeks.

Any pure ameraucana breeders in southwest Virginia? Also potential interest in quality rocks and/or naked necks.

you should have gone by the swap in c'burg today... Dan (white pickup) breeds bbs ams. all his birds are bred to standard as far as I can tell...

I didn't sell today but stopped by for a quick walk-thru. glad I did, picked up some extra water bowls for travel cages.
