I also live in western Loudoun county. I have a small flock with one rooster. So I am not interested in swapping a hen. Let me know if you want to visit and see the coop. Perhaps when the weather gets nicer.
I live near Lovettsville. What kinds of chickens do you have? I raise cream legbars, Swedish flower hens, ameraucanas, plus egg layers.

Con is doing good- acting like it doesn't even hurt this morning. He got a warm salt water foot soak and more antibiotic salve anyway. He does NOT like having to stay in the box;-) Dh doesn't like him roaming the carpet. I am so glad that everyone's chickens did okay. Can't wait for warmer weather!

Quote: I have 2 Partridge rock hens (21 weeks), 2 barred rock hens (21 weeks), 2 light brahma hens (10 months), and a young PR rooster. all brown egg layers. Would like to get a couple of Ameraucanas or cream legbars for blue/green colored eggs. Let me know if you are selling chicks/pullets!

@PrayingMantis I have 3 Muscovy drakes and I have placed my order for 18 ducklings to arrive in march and 22 chickens to add to my current flock of 11.

I'm hatching (hoping to anyway!) ducks for the Easter Hatch-a-Long...but I may get some beforehand, when Southern States gets their chicks and ducklings in at the end of February.

We are in search of Indian runners 2-3 all females with the runner pattern markings and would like to find show quality or close to it. Any suggestions on where to find? I don't think I want to mail order, I would never forgive myself if any didn't make it or were injured. Local reputable breeders in VA, MD, or WV, maybe PA.

Yep, I hope to be selling some this spring.
