Wow, my TSC has Easter Eggers too!!!
We got 6 more chicks today from the pullet bin at TSC. I think they may be Easter Eggers. We have a nice assortment now to be able to choose who we want to keep for our flock. :) Here's an overhead photo of the newbies here. (chipmunk looking ones and the one at the top right) Thoughts? (will be posting a thread soon. Just curious now, hehe)
So jealous....I wanted easter eggs chicks but wasn't having any luck finding them...somehow I did end up with two easter eggers from an auction so I can't be too bummed! Please share pictures of them as they grow.

For those in northern VA, I have cream legbar and ameraucana Easter Egger hatching eggs for sale. I am in the Lovettsville area. I just sold 13 EE chicks over the weekend. PM if interested.

Hi, if anyone is selling Muscovyy ducklings, ducks, or hatching eggs, please let me know! I'm in Northern Virginia but willing to drive for pick-up. Ideally only want a few, so that cuts out all the big-time hatcheries. Thanks in advance!

So freakin' cute!!!

I have a question-- I posted in the egg-laying thread, but I'm hoping someone here may know:

Two of my young pullets just started laying last week (~23 weeks). One of them, the barred rock I think, has had one normal egg, and two that are just liquid-- no sign of shell anywhere. Just yolk, soaked into the nest box. Other than that, she seems perfectly fine. But it's not fun to clean up, and I hope she's okay.

Any ideas? They are on an organic, soy free layer feed (have been for the past month) and they usually get about an hour or two per day of free range. A couple of days ago, I also put some oyster shells in their run, so they could have it free choice.

Any advice appreciated.
