That is correct D'Angelo! That store has been there forever! The people are great, the place is great. I don't know how the Southern States stays in business right there across the street!

Have fun!

Well I'm back from the Gilmanor Swap/Sale. It was HUGE...I had gone about 5 years and it was not nearly that large..I was so overwhelmed. Prices were Great...and lots of things to choose from. I ended up coming home with a Gorgeous pair of Chocolate Muscovies. I named them Cocoa and Hershey.

...Alison, what did you end up getting????

Had a fun day! We didn't have a ton of stuff to sell and originally were not going to go but decided why not since we wanted to go look any how. Certainly gets bigger every year!

Brandon

We had fun wondering around and looking at everything. I was good, and didn't buy anything, besides lunch. I did, however, point out a few birds that I liked. Brent thought the SS Hamburgs looked "pretty cool", which I take as a good sign. He also barely blinked when I mentioned that I'd probably need a separate pen, if I got bantams . . .

I do love him!

Heather and Brandon, good to see you guys, as always. D'Angelo, it was nice to meet you. I may check back with you about those D'Uccles!

I always advertise for our WV Chickenstock on this thread... we're so close to VA here in the eastern panhandle. I hope Im not bothering y'all

BUT... It's this Saturday!!

We are steadily increasing in size and are having more and more to sell all the time. Here's our BYC link https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=382569

and
here's our blog with a more updated LIST O STUFF http://wvchickenstock.blogspot.com/

If
you want to sell, you'll need to get your AI work done and it will be tricky as it's this Saturday. You can sell birds under 3 months of age without. If you just want to buy or check things out, please stop by the tan canopy... the one with the crabby husband and two screaming kids

Speaking of this weekend, is anyone going to the State Fair to see the poultry show? They're checking in today and tomorrow. Judging is Saturday. I may run up there if I can get away.

The Meadow Event Park

Driving Directions
I-95, Exit 98, one mile and a half east of Kings Dominion.
Alternate Route 301 to Route 30, west on Route 30 about 3 miles. Route 1 to Route 30, east on Route 30 about 2 miles.

OK Folks, need help! Hubby just got an offer from Stony Creek VA, about 40 or so miles south of Richmond right on I95, and barring complications we are going to have to take it. I have family in Richmond but they are city slickers, really. I need info on who what when where, etc.
If anyone in that general area can drop me an email olive branch I'd appreciate it

Will need a place to rent until we can sell this place and get another loan that will let me have my 4 to 6 large dogs, 7 cats, and looking like 20 chickens at the moment (half silkies).

Please???
