Visiting Wild Birds

Hi All - I've noticed over the past few days that my new chickens are having daily visits from some wild pidgeons and a pheasant. Is there any danger of them picking up disease etc. What should I be looking for?

I would be worried about the lice and mites they carry. Is there any way to discourage your visitors from visiting? Are you leaving feed or treats out for your chickens that the new visitors are after? Try eliminating the reason for them visiting for awhile and see if that helps.
