vitamin stuff made the water rust colored-is that normal?

I mixed up a quart using about 1/4 tsp of the packet and a quart of water. The water looked kinda rusty-I hope that's normal. I gave it to the chicks already. I have the sav-a-chick kind from TSC.

Usually the vitamins change the color. The vitamins I use turned the water.

Turned mine orange when I used it... I thought it was normal since I have never used it before... hope it was

Yes that is normal that is the vitamins and electrolytes in it---totally normal and safe...

Depends on the brand I guess but mine change the water color too.

Mine looked like watered down Tang.
