I recently started giving my chickens and emu's Durvet Vitamins and Electrolytes (adding to their water).

I have some pheasant, peafowl and chicken chicks that just hatched. Should I add any to their water?

I wouldn't recommend giving it to them at all unless they are under stressful conditions or dehydrated. Good layer feed for adults and good chick starter for young-ens and fresh clean water will do..

You can give your adults a good "Vita with probotic in" which is good for there gut, but i would only give it to them once a month just to keep there guts up to par..

Vitamins and mineral supplements are great, but electrolytes should only be used when dehydrated or under stress, because they CAN be overdosed. Too many electrolytes can be very bad to us and animals.
