We had some chickens that were sick and we bought the powdered vits/elec to put in the water. We have some left, and because it is so good for them, will it hurt to put it in their water all the time?

i would use it up ..... for sure.... if you are unsure.... use it once a week .... I wish an expert would let you know..

It won't hurt them to use it up.
I keep some on hand for emergencies, but only regularly put it in their water during the dog days of summer (90 - 95+ degrees).

I wouldn't use it daily, as electrolytes (which is commonly in these mixtures) can be dangerous if the birds don't need it and it is given in excess. Providing it once a week is fine and often recommended to keep vitamins in check.

Thanks guys....looks like I'll just add it once a week....
