Vivian Is Born!

Hello Everyone,

I am new to BYC.

Just had to post with the Exciting news! We had three eggs and one has hatched completely. Vivian is born

She (i think) is a cream legbar. My son has named her Vivian in case she's a boy, and to make sure she'e a tomboy who likes spies if she's a girl.

I am trying to surpress concern for the other two eggs which haven't even pipped yet, but one of which was definitely moving until Vivian began jumping around on top of it!

It's great to finally join you all as a chicken owner

Congratulations! I bet Vivian is talking to the chicks in the other eggs, telling them to come on out and play. Cream Legbars are really rare, where did you get the eggs?
My hatch date is the 14th so I'm very excited too.

Got the eggs from HappyChick near Poulton, Lancs, UK.

So they are rare are they? I didn't realise, as this is new territory.

Vivian is looking perky and is doing her best to encourage her siblings. One of whom needs to hatch so it can be christened Lesley. Obviously
