Hi,
One of my battery hens vomited a brown opaque liquid this morning when I got them up at around 8:10am but I was late for school so all I could do was text my parents about the situation. My mum got home around 2pm and said she hasn’t vomited again and she was still eating & drinking normally, although she was shyer than the other two. We got the hens 4 weeks ago and she’s only laid one egg that had no shell or yolk. (There’s been one other without a shell or yolk but I’m not sure if it was hers, and there was another egg of which we aren’t sure who laid it without a shell; I’m not sure if it had a yolk or not. Another of my hens has laid 2 normal eggs without shells and the other hasn’t laid at all.) If anyone could tell me what it could be and how to help her I’d greatly appreciate it!
