Vomiting Chicken

My three-year-old Rhode Island red just acted lethargic and when I went to pick her up she started coughing and convulsing and throwing up liquid from her mouth and within seconds died. Does anyone know what might have gone wrong and if I need to worry about the rest of the flock?
