Skippy is 3yrs has had no health issues. Today she came out of the coop lethargic with her beak open. I tried to feed her and she just stood stoic. I brought her in and she vomited. No worms just a bit of grass and muddy water looking fluid. No odor to her beak or the fluid. Advice please!!! I have her in the house. It has been extremely hot here. 100 for days she is sitting with her wings out and stretching her neck.

Hmmmm theres no blood in the vomit right? I can't tell from the pictures. Your hen might need to cool down a little bit. Because of the temp, the water might be warm?? Try placing little ice cubes in her drink. This works for my ducks. Good luck!

No blood drown and white loose though. She is inside in the kennel. Sitting but not eating. She is making a burping noise once in a while. I gave her monostat and coconut oil. About to go to tsc to try and find some vitamins and electrolyte mix.

Should I force her to drink? She has a blockage for sure. I felt it once everyth
Everything settled down she sounds gurgling now I am afraid to pick her up and drown her.
I wouldn't force her to drink if she's gurgling. Picking them up when they are like this can be tricky, so the less handling the better.
If you feel you must move her or pick her up for treatment, then move her quickly to a table where you can work on her more easily and she can stand up. Give support underneath her between the legs and avoid pressing the crop upward.

I know. I've had hens like this and yes, the contents can come up and they start choking. Scary!:hugs

Do make water available for her though.

Is she able to poop?

She is pooping little bit watery with white not a lot. She has a ball? About 2 inches from her chin if that makes sense. If I pick her up she throws up brown fluid. Not eating or drinking still. Giving monostat and coconut oil. Anything else I can do?
