I just bought some chickens at an Amish auction last week and I'm trying to guess thier breed. By looking at breed pics, i think they're a variation of Vorwerks. My rooster Phoneix is white buff white and looks almost like the rare variation. My hens are gold blue and gold gold, and there was also a gold black hen at the auction. I'm not sure if they're the same breed.
They have singe combs, meduim sized(large bantam), all but the rooster have blue underfeathers, and havent laid any eggs yet.
Please help if you know what they might be.

1 - What state do you live in?
2 - Do you have pics of them?

I think the light gold one might be a rooster. Phoneix (the rooster) is always chasing him/her. I don't know how old it is but I know it's younger than the others

also, is there any way to age chickens?

The rooster in the first picture is a very handsome bird indeed!!

He doesn't, though, look anything like the vorwerks that I saw on Saturday at a poultry show. They are pictured below:

I know that the most common coloration for vorwerks is black buff black but there is a lesser common white buff white.
There is the page from this website.

I know that these are mutts but I'm just trying to get a general idea of what they are. I did some research on vorwerks and it said they originate from germany so I thoght it might be slightly possible that they might be some distant mixed breed.

Does anybody know what the other chickens might be?
