VULTURES?

So far I've been lucky, no sickness, but like you I keep the waters cleaned out constantly.
 
I've heard most scavenger birds like vultures and crows have lots of diseases.


I've heard exactly the opposite.

Turkey and Black vultures digestive tracts actually destroy a ton of viruses - they're ridiculously caustic to keep the animal safe from the bacterial load of rotting meat. They get blamed for a lot of things they have nothing to do with.

Yep, like I said, no-one worries about them around here... they´re always welcome. It just means that something has died. :(
I actually love to see them circling way up high. And then when they´re all sitting along the top of fence posts, it´s either raining or something has passed away.
This one´s eyeing up that dead fish on the rocks... Fish on the rocks! Nice!

My dogs do NOT welcome vultures!
